Paying Tribute: Flo and Frank Scott

The memory of Flo and Frank Scott continues to live on through their generosity

We would like to pay tribute to the incredible legacy of the Scotts. Flo was an active member of Hacienda Golf Club for over forty years. After Flo passed away in 2002, her husband Frank set up scholarship funds in honor of his wife: the Women’s Southern California Golf Association Foundation’s Flo Scott Scholarship.
The Flo Scott Rose Award for Excellence in Nursing Leadership was created in 2004 to pay tribute to the passion and service of the Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital nurses who cared for his wife while she was hospitalized. 2011 marks the eighth year the honor has been awarded, and the first year that Frank Scott was unable to personally present the award. Frank passed away weeks before the presentation. In honor of Frank, chairman of the PIH Foundation Board of Directors, a second scholarship was created entitled the Art of Caring Award.

Both Flo and Frank Scott will continually be remembered for their heart of service and generosity to the Southern California community.
