WSCGA Welcomes Kern County!

“Golf is a game of finding what works, losing it, and finding it again.” Ken Venturi

Golf is a game of finding what works…. Without ever loosing it, the WSCGA has found what works and that is our community. Without our close community the golfing world would be a little less bright and we certainly wouldn’t be who we are today. Here at the WSCGA we enjoy being a part of a supportive and active golfing community, fostering that unity and welcoming others into it.

This Thursday, September 1st, WSCGA Representatives will be meeting at Riverlakes Golf Course to welcome four new Division II country clubs from Kern County into our association. The four Division II clubs that will be joining the WSCGA from Kern County are: Buena Vista Country Club, Kern River Country Club, North Kern Golf Club and Riverlakes Golf Club.

Each of these clubs are great for a round of golf, and each has their story. Check out their webpages for more information and club history:

  1. Aw, this was a truly wonderful post. In theory Id like to write like this also – taking time and genuine effort to make a great article; but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and in no way appear to get some thing done.
